INDASOL’s Sign Block powers monkey business at Drayton Manor

We love it when our products become an integral part of stunning work by our clients.  One recent project that has caused a positive stir is new signage for the Tamarin Trail at Drayton Manor.

Walsall-based Redbox Signmakers chose INDASOL SIGNBLOCK because it’s lightweight, UV stable, externally durable and offers the user the advantage of being able to create whatever 3D shape is required.

It can then be finished in whatever finish is desired. SIGNBLOCK is a high density Urethane (HDU) and can be cut, routered, carved, water jet cut or sand blasted to suit.

Redbox also used our INDASOL 900 two- part adhesive to create a collage, bonding the SIGNBLOCK together.

Our product gave Redbox the freedom to create whatever shape and finish needed and offered peace of mind that the resulting sign will last many years

Sign block can be laminated to create deep section signs, it can be painted, dipped and vinyl wrapped to give whatever finish is required.

Redbox worked around the clock to ensure a seamless finish for the 3.1m by 2m sign. Everything was shaped by hand, finished with a top coat and hand painted

Thanks to INDASOL‘s working with Redbox on this, visitors can now find their way to getting up close and personal with some enchanting creatures.

First reports from the famous Midlands theme park are that the signs have proved hugely popular. It’s great to see this come together!
