button-fix™ - secret, secure, configurable panel fixings
Button-fix is an easy, accurate and secure method of invisibly attaching panels, signage and objects to walls, ceilings and other surfaces.
The concept is simple: robust Buttons are attached to the back of one panel and the mating Fixes are attached to the other. Bring the panels together until the Button-fixes ‘click’. Button-fix is an excellent choice for shop fitting, furniture manufacture and signage applications
Type 1
Connects parallel panels where the emphasis is on strength. Highly versatile, it can be surface-mounted or semi-rebated into the panel, orientated for vertical or sideways assembly.
Type 1 Flush
For applications where panel-to-panel contact is required. It fits a simple oval rebate and can be rebated into the edge of a panel of at least 28mm thick or the face of a panel of at least 18mm thick.
Type 1 Bonded
For use where screw-fixing to the panel is not possible and bonding is the preferred option. It can be either surface-mounted or semi-rebated and works with a broad range of materials.
Type 2
Button Fix Type 2 connects panels at 90° and engages with a straight push. Ideal for panels with no clearance above or at the side and applications where the emphasis is on ease of access.
Type 3
Type 3 Button-fix is ideal for: Wall and lightweight ceiling panels, Boat interiors, Acoustic panels including acoustic felt panels, Upholstered panels, Panels at the end-of-run or in tight corners.
Type 1 Metal
Ideal for use with fire-retardant panels, the Type 1 Metal is a highly versatile and reliable fastener that has been independently tested for strength and under shock loads and vibration.
Button Marker Type 1
The Button Marker for Type 1 accurately aligns the Button-fix, dramatically speeding up the marking out stage.
Fix Marker Type 2
The Fix Marker Type 2 accessory helps with the accurate installation of Type 2 Button-fix.
Router Multijig Type 1
The router Multijig helps when machining the oval recesses required for rebated configurations of Button-fix.
Fix-pad Type 1 Bonded
Self-adhesive Fix-pads for the Type 1 Bonded for light duty applications where speed of assembly is important.
Safety Cord Type 2
The Safety Cord should be used in all applications of Type 2 Button-fix where extra safety is required.
Button For CSK Wood Screw
Button Fix Button for Countersunk Wood Screws. Suitable for 5mm dia screws.
Button For Euro Screw
Button Fix Button for Euro Screws - 100 Pack. Suitable for use with 6.2mm diameter Euro screw.
