SIGNBLOCK :
A lightweight easy to use polyurethane, developed for producing detailed 3D shapes and letters. This allows for a bespoke finish that is repeatable time and again, with the added benefit of ultra durability in external conditions and being extremely lightweight. SIGNBLOCK is ideal for internal and external use. It can be carved, shaped or routered to produce striking 3D images and letters. There are techniques to create finishes looking like stone, wood, plastic and even bright metal.
For a customer looking to create a challenging shape that would either be impossible with metal or plastic and wood being too heavy, SIGNBLOCK is the only real choice for the sign making professional.
High Tack Foam for most sign fixing applications:
INDASOL 1800HS is a high performance foam tape that offers excellent shear and peel strength and is ideal for bonding medium weight signage externally. Designed to adhere to almost any surface, INDASOL 1800HS provides a strong, stable and long last flexible bond. It can be used externally and is available in a range of widths and thicknesses to suit. Being BSI approved, you can use this product with confidence on most signage applications.
Totally Clear 2 Part for Built up Letters:
The INDASOL 800 2 Part Structural Adhesive has been developed specifically for use in the sign industry. Along with being used for applications such as locator bonding, tray making and other structural bonds, INDASOL 800 is best suited for making built up letters. Designed to offer a flexible yet structural bond, it also does not yellow over time and most importantly does not create a shadow when LED’s are illuminated behind the bond.
New UHB for LED, LSE and Powder Coating:
To complement our already well established range of Structural Bonding UHB Tapes, we have added some new additions. These new products offer the same great performance and confidence, but with the added bonus of being able to either pass through powder coat, bond to very difficult surfaces or help take heat away from light and/or power sources such as LED modules. They come in a range of thicknesses and widths.
Making Priming Easy:
To help get the best bond when using tapes, adhesives and UHB structural products, the use of primers is sometimes advised. One particular application is channel/rail fixing to the back of signs. This is a critical application and can be time consuming. To help make this process fast and easy, we have added a special primer bottle to our range. Still containing INDASOL PR100, this bottle allows you to apply a 20mm wide strip of primer, so it not only speeds the process up, but also make it more accurate.
UHB17000 Series:
A range of High Performance, High Temperature Pre-Powder Coat Bonding UHB products. Standard thicknesses are; 0.5mm and 1.0mm.

David had a brief from his client to produce 8 impressive low relief carvings showcased in the new and prestigious Titanic Hotel, Belfast, the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience.

Zulu Signs has written in to Signlink Magazine (April 2017) and paid tribute to INDASOL. The firm was able to help it resolve an issue it was having with the failure of LED
modules in sign fittings.
The company had been providing customers with an LED with tape already in place. But, following reports that this system had been failing and, in some cases, dropping off, Zulu Signs sought help from INDASOL.
Matt Albert of Zulu Signs explains: “It turns out that the tape supplied is of poor quality and too thin to cope with the expansion and contraction of the LED that the surface is mounted to. Combined with the heat of the LED, thin tapes are not man enough for this job.
“We called INDASOL as soon as we started having problems. They confirmed we were not the only ones to be buying in LEDs with this tape already in place. “After a few trials we settled on UHB21025W, which resolved the issue perfectly. This will now be our tape of choice for all LED installations as it copes with the expansion issue and also helps take the heat away from the LED.”
